[SOLVED] Looking for a spring fastener for my fridge slide

Hi,

I have been using a workaround to stop my fridge slide from exiting out the back window on the slide on my packing system and think it is time to make the permanent solution, Simon B used one of these and I am looking for simlar please can you assist or advise on what you used, I need to secure the slide properly before I lose it out the window 1 day....

I have seen some with a spring in the mechanism does anyone know where to get these too, as seen on some of the commercial products, like hens teeth it appears

If you have a Conqueror agent close to you you would find one of those spring loaded thingy-ma-jigs from them as all the doors and fridge sliders in the trailers and caravans use them.

Thanks a mil, there is one that opened up just a few km's away in Midrand, at last I can get my thingymajig for my slide.

Hi,

Conqueror didn't have stock and took long to organise these, they did refer me to Acorn Fasteners in Centurion, and I got these items (same as conquerors) from them for R72 each. They have alot funny screws and stuff too, so a good place to know for the DIY'er.
