Re: Which Pajero?
Cas,

Thankfully my age isn't shown on this forum, but if it was, you would understand that more BROM doesn't do it for me anymore :D

Thanks

Re: Which Pajero?
Driving Hiluxes in 1983? The BROM obviously didn't do it for you then either :)

Re: Which Pajero?
Hah...

The Hilux's were company tools ;) . The real car then was a brand new VW Passat Sedan 1.6 GLS - with roof rails to take two windsurfers to Swakop (Walvis) as often as possible.

OK, so which wise ass changed the title of this thread  . I have a sneaky suspicion, but won't accuse our fearless leader in public without proof  .

Roelf

I am catching up on some mails after my trip over December, excuse my belated congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS on a very sexy new Pajero. I LOVE the color and believe that it is the true colour of all Pajero's 8-) Dakar red!

Thanks Cats,

We are very happy with it and it seems to tick all the boxes we needed to have a tick in.

I floored the 3.8 on Sun afternoon to pass a sting of cars. I think I felt the difference of the MIVEC motor. The power just kept piling on as the speedo went round the dial  .
Re: Which Pajero? - Red 2008 Gen4 3.8 LWB !
Hey Roelf
Congrats on the new Pajero. Yes, that RED. Fantastic! I’m also torn between petrol and diesel. The power delivery on the petrol is fantastic, but the diesel gives you low down grunt. Completely different experience and driving style between the two. I drove a 2005 3.8 for two months and the biggest pain was the fuel consumption. Averaged about 7k’s p/l around town and dropped to below 6 on the open road. (Ready heavy right foot) But, much sportier than my trusty diesel. However, if it comes to tackling the rough stuff I will stick with the diesel, with power from way down the rev curve.
Hope you have mountains off fun with it!
If you can feel the grass between your toe's, your flying too low!
