After you strip and clean, put extra effort to ensure that the inside seating face of the rotor and the matching face that it beds against are spotlessly clean (brake part cleaner and wire brush) else the rotor will not run true and you will experience brake shudder.
Before re-assembly completely slack off the adjustment at the handbrake lever and back off the star wheel adjustment at the hub.
After assembly (and with the road wheel on and torqued to spec) start to adjust at the start wheel until it locks the hub and then back off a couple of clicks on the star wheel.
Once you have done that on both sides and the wheels are back on the ground adjust the handbrake lever to taste.
